The group's celebrations

Your group keeps a page for the moments worth marking. Birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, milestones. The Celebrations page shows what the group is marking, and the ones with dates come around in the weekly letter when their time is near.

You can offer one. Pick what kind it is, say who or what it is for, and add the date if it has one. A year is optional, so a birthday can be marked without telling anyone's age.

What you offer goes to your group's leaders first, not straight to everyone. They add it to what the group celebrates, and until then your offer shows in your own list as being with your leaders. That pause is there on purpose, since a celebration often names someone else, and your leaders know the group.

Your own birthday works two ways. Adding it to your profile lets the group's pages mark it during its week. Offering it here is how it can also reach the weekly letter.
