Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice
Effective July 21, 2026
Threshold is a service of OTL Creative LLC. This notice explains how Threshold handles health related information that a group records about a person. It is separate from our Privacy Policy and applies in addition to it.
What may be collected
A group leader may record care information that concerns a person's health, such as an illness, a treatment, a recovery, or a hospital stay, so that the group's leaders can coordinate care and prayer.
Where it comes from
Health related information is recorded by a group leader after the person it concerns has agreed. The leader records how that agreement was given. Threshold does not collect health information directly from you unless you provide it yourself.
How it is used
Health related care information is used only to help the group coordinate care and prayer. It is shared within the group only when the person it concerns has agreed. During beta the group's leader is responsible for having that agreement and attests to it, and each share into a group newsletter is recorded. It is not shared outside the group.
Who may see it
The group's designated leaders, according to the sensitivity the record carries. Administrators of the group's parent organization, such as a church's pastoral staff, may also see it as part of their oversight of the group. When the person has agreed, a care update or prayer request may also be shared with the group, including in the group's newsletter.
Service providers
Care records are stored with our database provider, Supabase. Error monitoring by Sentry is configured so that care contents are not included. General notes submitted for drafting are processed by Anthropic, and leaders are instructed not to include private health details in those notes.
No sale
Threshold does not sell health related information and does not use it for advertising.
Withdrawing agreement
You may withdraw your agreement at any time by telling your group leader or by writing to admin@otlcreative.com.
Access, correction, and deletion
You may ask us to confirm whether a care record concerns you, to correct it, or to remove it, whether or not you have a Threshold account. Write to admin@otlcreative.com.
How we verify requests
Before acting, we verify that a request comes from the person the record concerns or someone legally authorized to act for them, using reasonable means such as a reply from the contact information the group holds for that person.
If we decline
If we decline a request, we will explain why in writing, and you may ask us to reconsider by replying to that explanation.
