Threshold

Where groups gather around what matters
A weekly newsletter that keeps a small group gathered. The leader writes once a week. Threshold shapes it into a newsletter and sends it to everyone who belongs.

Most groups don't fall apart. They drift.
The week ends, and the next gathering starts before the last one is remembered.
Prayer requests get repeated because no one wrote them down. Birthdays slip by.
The person who needed care last Tuesday is still carrying it on Friday, and no one knows.
Once a week
The leader writes. Threshold does the rest.
Bring your notes
What was discussed, who needs prayer, what's coming up. Plain notes, written once.
The newsletter takes shape
Lesson, prayer, care, calendar, celebrations. Each lands in its place, in your group's own look.
It reaches everyone
One weekly newsletter to everyone who belongs. The whole list, every week.

The Tuesday Evening Group
This Week
We met at the Andersons' on Tuesday and looked at Philippians 2. Most of us kept coming back to the same question, how you count others as more significant than yourself in an ordinary week. We didn't land on an answer, but nobody was in a hurry to leave it.
Care & Prayer
Linda's mother went home from the hospital. She's still tired but eating again. Linda asked for continued prayer.
James starts a new role on Monday. Pray for him as he steps into it.
Coming Up
Next Tuesday we're at the Coopers'. Continuing in Philippians 2. Bring something to share.
Sent by Beth for the Tuesday Evening Group
The groups and people shown are fictional. Your newsletter takes your group's own look.

Care stays seen
What was carried on Tuesday is still held on Friday. Nothing depends on one person's memory.

The weeks are kept
Every newsletter becomes part of the group's record. A leader who steps in next year can read back through the whole of it.

Everyone belongs
The visitor who came last week receives the same newsletter as the people who have been there for years.
