Getting started

Create your group

Threshold begins with a group. The people you gather, under the name they know.

When you create your account, you'll be asked what to call your group and what kind of community it is. The name is the one your people would recognize. The Tuesday group, the Oak Street association, the young families class. You can change it later in Settings.

The kind of community shapes the words Threshold uses with you. A church or ministry group speaks of lessons, prayer, and care. A community or civic group speaks of updates, events, and recognition. Nothing is locked by this choice. Sections can be turned on or off later, whatever kind you chose.

If you're setting Threshold up for a whole church or organization rather than one group, start with an organization account instead. Your groups will live inside it, and each keeps its own name and its own letter.
