Beta Feedback Agreement
Draft — not yet in effect
A working draft, revised after a completeness pass, and not yet reviewed by legal counsel or in effect. The feedback-license term is deliberately narrow — a license to use your feedback, not a claim on anything you create or contribute. It will be reviewed by an attorney before it is offered to testers beyond the founder's own circle.
Parties
Between:OTL Creative LLC (“Threshold,” “we”), 1445 Woodmont Ln NW #481, Atlanta, GA 30318, admin@otlcreative.com.
And:you, the beta participant (“you”).
Thank you for helping test Threshold. This short agreement covers the terms of participating in the beta. It supplements the Threshold Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict about beta participation or product feedback specifically, this agreement controls for that topic.
1. The beta service
Threshold is an early-stage service still in development. During the beta:
- Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
- The service may have bugs, downtime, or incomplete functionality.
- Content and data should not be considered permanently stored or guaranteed; keep your own copies of anything important, and please use care when submitting highly sensitive information during testing.
- We may contact you for feedback about your experience.
2. Your feedback
We'd love your feedback — bug reports, suggestions, reactions, ideas for improvement. Sharing feedback is voluntary.
What you keep: You keep ownership of anything you create or contribute through Threshold — your newsletters, prayer requests, care notes, photos, posts, and other content. Nothing in this agreement transfers ownership of your content to us. Your voice and your group's content remain yours; we only handle them to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
What you grant us — feedback only:When you give us feedback or suggestions about Threshold (for example, “this button is confusing” or “it would help if the newsletter could do X”), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback and those suggestions to operate and improve Threshold and our products — without obligation to you and without owing you compensation or attribution. This license covers your feedback and suggestions about the product; it does notcover, claim, or assign your own content, your own intellectual property, or anything you build outside of giving us product feedback. You are not required to provide feedback, and if you do, you confirm you're free to share it.
Please don't send us confidential or proprietary information as feedback unless we have a separate written agreement. Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used by us to improve Threshold without restriction, subject to the content-ownership limits above.
3. Confidentiality of unreleased features
During the beta you may see features, designs, or plans that aren't public yet. Please don't publicly share screenshots or details of clearly unreleased/pre-launch features without checking with us first. (This isn't meant to stop you from telling people you use Threshold or sharing your own group's content — just from disclosing our unreleased work.)
4. No warranty; limitation
The beta service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. The disclaimers and limitation of liability in the Threshold Terms of Service apply to your use of the beta service and are incorporated here by reference. Because the service handles sensitive information, please use your own judgment about what you submit during the beta.
5. Privacy
Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. The beta involves real data, including potentially sensitive content; the Privacy Policy explains how it's used and protected.
6. Ending participation
You can stop participating at any time, and we can end or change the beta at any time. The terms in Sections 2 (feedback license), 3 (confidentiality), and 4 (no warranty) continue after participation ends.
7. General
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, this is the entire agreement about beta participation and feedback.
By participating in the Threshold beta, you agree to these terms.
